Gracie

Gracie is a 5-year-old mixed breed (africanis) with a loving, playful nature and a heart full of loyalty. Medium-sized at around 25kg, she’s the perfect blend of fun and calm — full of energy when it’s time to play, and laid-back during quiet moments at home.
She’s incredibly affectionate and enjoys being around people, but is also comfortable spending time on her own. Every day at 5 p.m. sharp, Gracie starts getting excited — she knows it’s nearly walk time! Whether it’s the beach, the park, or just a stroll through the neighborhood, she absolutely loves being outdoors and is great both on- and off-leash.
Gracie is fully house-trained, travels well in the car (she’s even been on holiday to the Eastern Cape), and knows how to sit and walk on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs and has never had any issues in social settings. While she hasn’t been around cats much, she’s been fine with children — including the few small kids she’s met.
Gracie is spayed, fully vaccinated, and in perfect health. She’s also a very attentive little guard dog — alert but never aggressive — and would suit a loving, affectionate home with a garden and people who enjoy including their dog in family life.
It’s with a heavy heart that her owners are looking to rehome her, and their only wish is to find a home where she’ll be as loved and appreciated as she has been with them.
Gracie has a sister who, unfortunately, has become increasingly aggressive toward her. Despite all efforts to manage the situation, they’ve reached a point where they can no longer safely be in the same space. In order to ensure both dogs are safe and happy, the owners made the incredibly difficult decision to find Gracie a new home — one where she can live peacefully and receive all the love she deserves.
